After upgrade from 0.8 to 0.9 we got unexpected behaviour.

Simple sudo cookbook doesn't got [:users] attribute value from the role.

I fix it using node[:authorization].to_hash.

But it is bad behavior. Is there any way to clear any attributes from 0.8?
