Here is your weekly triage email!
This week was a big milestone for the COOK project as we finally
worked through the backlog of fixed/resolved tickets. Rest-assured
our merge monkeys are have started incorporating all the fixes into
opscode/cookbooks master!
--- Opscode Chef
To merge:
CHEF-1968 - windows caching configuration problem
CHEF-1994 - The notifies syntax introduced in 0.9.10 is not
implemented for subscribes
CHEF-2041 - Allow file paths in package names to populate source attribute
CHEF-2161 - Change Mixlib::Log default time format to be iso8601
CHEF-2207 - Add gemfile and development dependencies to chef client
Other:
CHEF-2017 - Update all Chef provided bootstrap templates to use Rubygems 1.5.0
reopened, should move to Rubygems 1.6.2
CHEF-2064 - Add chef-client option that disables convergence to
prevent the running of cookbooks
won't fix, future features should cover use case
CHEF-2088 - Knife bootstrap script should specify chef gem version to install
closed, duplicate of CHEF-2195.

COOK-238 - chef::server_proxy recipe install fails on chef-server restart
COOK-370 - postgresql cookbook: Option to disable SSL doesn't actually work
COOK-598 - No "vim" package in RHEL/Centos base repos
COOK-600 - In AWS Cookbook specifying just the device doesn't work
COOK-601 - in aws cookbook :prune action keeps 1 less snapshot than
snapshots_to_keep
COOK-604 - 'role' and 'database' resources for PostgreSQL
COOK-608 - Avoid RailsAllowModRewrite warning from apache web app
