[chef-dev] 11/23 Opscode Ticket Triage

Happy Holidays folks. It's a bit of a slow week with a lot of us out
celebrating, assuredly a few of you from the US as well. We get
Thanksgiving and Evacuation Day [1] off here at Opscode, although I'm
pretty sure the latter isn't the official reason.

Chef 0.10.6 got another release candidate this week due to a
regression. Because of the aforementioned US holidays (we don't like
major releases when folks are unlikely to be around to troubleshoot
any issues), expected release is now Monday 11/28.

We continue cleaning up pull requests without tickets and assorted
orphaned tickets in states that don't match the contribution workflow
[2]. Don't forget to resolve your tickets when you provide a
patch/fix.

A spiffy new web interface to Omnibus Client should be available early
next week and an updated list of caveats and platform support (the
original [3]).

And what else is next week, you ask? The summit! I'm excited to see
many of you. Be sure to start thinking now about what kind of problems
you would like to put our collective minds towards solving together
and we will work out the agenda [4] Tuesday morning.
