It may simply be that the Opscode Summit planning and occurrence caused a delay your CLA submittal being processed. I'll look into it and let you know as soon as feasible.

I'm still waiting to get the e-mail back saying y'all have received my
contributor license agreement;  But in the mean time I've opened the following
issue and submitted a pull request for the fix here:

(I'm not able to assign the issue to myself nor resolve it as I'm not yet an
approved contributor.)

It's literally a 1-character change, but unfortunately this bug is affecting
one of our customers right now.  Is there anything I can do or provide to help
speed up the process of getting it merged?
