[chef-dev] FATAL: OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError: SSL_connect SYSCALL returned=5 errno=0 state=SSLv2/v3 read server hello A.

I am testing chef for a customer case pilot but suffering from client error.
I have deployed open source chef server on one machine(ubuntu11.10, and 
server.rb is configued manualy then restart). Then chose another machine 
(also ubunti.11.10) and installed RubyGem, chef, and wriote client.rb (no any 
further steps on workstation) on it, then ran chef-client to register the new 
node to my own chef server but got FATAL: OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError: SSL_connect 
SYSCALL returned=5 errno=0 state=SSLv2/v3 read server hello A. 
  
  Attachment is the error log and client.rb/server used. The validation.pem I 
used on the client machine is directly copied from server /etc/chef.
