The CFP closes in just 7 days.  Now is the time to get your proposals 
submitted!

We'll be announcing speakers in the first week of March.

I've just sent #ChefConf discount codes to everyone I could identify who has 
done one of the following:
1) contributed to an Opscode project
2) published a cookbook on the community site
3) participated in the Opscode Summit

If that is you, check your email for a subject line that says:
  "[Core Contributor] Special ticket to #ChefConf"

The discount tickets are $600 and there are currently 100 of them in the 
pool.  (Actually, now there are 96 available. ;-)  Please register as soon as 
you can.  

If you should have gotten a code and I missed you, please email me to let me 
know.

aren't yet easy for me to identify programatically.  For example: improving
