- Subject: [chef-dev] Quick update on Opscode Community Summit October 23 & 24 in Seattle, WA, USA
- Date: Wed, 15 Aug 2012 17:08:29 -0700
I just signed the contract for our Community Summit Venue...
We will be at the Hotel 1000, a 5-star hotel in Seattle!
Room rates will be $219 per night, and are incredibly nice. (Normally
$450+/night)
Note: Reservations open August 20th!
This is a "destination hotel" and will have partner/family activities
available, more about that soon.
As with #ChefConf we will basically be in control of an entire hotel for the
duration of the event. (Unlike last year we will have wifi that works for
150+ people ;-)
I'm still working out sponsor arrangements so the per-attendee costs are TBD.
(If you are budgeting now you can assume ~$250, less if we get more
sponsors.)
