Hi Chefs,

We have started a new mailing list called opscode-bug for
notification of critical bugs.  The list can be found here:

https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/opscode-bug

The goal of this mailing list is to ensure that those using Chef in
production environments can easily stay apprised of bugs that may
affect them.

When Opscode identifies a critical bug in Chef, a notification will
be sent to this mailing list.  The notification will include:

- A description of the bug,
- A description of the bug's potential impact,
- The versions of Chef affected,
- The platforms and architectures affected, and
- Possible workarounds or remediation where appropriate.

We will refine the process for identifying critical bugs and sending
notifications over time.
