[chef-dev] Erlang perf tools?

I've been noticing some perf issues with oschef erchef that is resolved by 
restarting the process. I'd really love to dig deeper, but I haven't got a 
clue how to proceed. Is this what folsom is for? Or eper? Or stats_hero? Is 
anyone using any of these things in their oschef install? Anything else I 
should investigate?
