This is good news, thanks for the detailed list of changes.

I didn't see a notice that 11.14.0 will now bump Ohai from 7.0.x to 7.2.0 - is that worth pointing out?

We have a new Release Candidate available for Chef Client version 11.14.0. Woot!!

This release includes a ton of contributions and bug fixes. You can see the highlights of the release here:

We will be making a full blown release of 11.14.0 soon. We would appreciate your help in test driving this Release Candidate. Here is the information to get this release:

On Non-Windows Platforms:

Windows MSI Link:

https://opscode-omnibus-packages.s3.amazonaws.com/windows/2008r2/x86_64/chef-windows-11.14.0.rc.2-1.windows.msi

Please try out these builds on some of your systems and let us know if you have any issues with this release candidate. Remember that all issues should be filed in using Github Issues for the chef repository: http://github.com/opscode/chef/issues.
