windows client?

Helo!

I've just found chef and I trying to fiugre out how it's working -  
seems to be quite nice thing :)

One question I have for now - does it work on windows? I just need  
client on windows, nothing else. I've seen on wiki some tickets about  
ohai and windows patches, but last comment is from march and ticket is  
still open.
