I honestly don't want to start a firefight but I'm trying to evaluate
Chef v. Puppet for my workplace, and trying to learn from the
experience of others what I cannot learn from testing in a small
environment.

I asked this question a few days ago on the Puppet-Users list:

>I just finished listening to the Configuration Management panel from
> OSBridge (on blip.tv).

and the thread is at

Anyhow, the gist is that Puppet gets it right if one has been thorough
in modelling the dependencies.

Would anyone on this list care to offer an alternative view on
resource ordering vs. recipe ordering (which is my understanding of
how Chef handles this)?

Thanks,

Peter
