[chef] Problems when trying to install chef from the head of github.

Hi folks,

Hope that this does not disturb your vacations. :)

I'm trying to install chef from the head of github on ubuntu 9.10, following the wiki: http://wiki.opscode.com/display/chef/Installing+Chef+from+HEAD.  But I meet the problems when trying to following command:

cd ~/chef
sudo gem install merb-core
rake install

 I got the following error:

 :~/temp/chef$ rake install
