The status page will use a search to populate the list of nodes to display. 
Make sure that the components required for search are running:

- chef-solr
- chef-solr-indexer
- rabbitmq-server

After you have verified these processes are running, you can test the search 
by opening the Search tab in the webui and clicking the "Search node" button, 
or by using the knife tool to search:

knife search node "*:*" -i
