If you're running chef then you need more servers right?

Apologies in advance if you feel this is off topic, but I'm trying to help 
some
friends liquidate their company. I'd rather this kit went to a good startup
than to some asset strippers.

1,100 configured as 2 clusters, located in colo in San Jose. (~1 year old)
1,000 boxed. (~3 years old)
