yes there is, if you install from rpm (rbel or elff) it will be installed straight away (5 init scripts, chef-server, chef-expander, couchdb, rabbitmq and chef-server-webui). If you install chef via gem you need to copy them individually from <installed gem location>/distro/redhat .
