It seems that canonical has a system to orchestrate cloud deployment
called Juju (which used to be called ensemble:
http://juju.ubuntu.com).. I'm wondering if anyone has had experience
in e.g. using it to work with chef, like using ensemble to define the
resources and relationships between products in a cluster, and to
scale up/scaled down resources, while using chef to actually deploy
and manage the instances.
I'm particularly interested in how these things work together, and
whether anyone working at opscode is looking at having chef be the
backend for juju charms. It seems like the opportunity for this to
happen is there, or at least is not a secret - see
http://askubuntu.com/questions/52840/differentiator-between-juju-and-front-runners-puppet-and-chef
- but is anyone doing this?
Thanks,
-Peter
