- Subject: [chef] Mongodb & the edelight cookbook?

Folks,
I'm curious to know if anyone else is trying to build a mongo cluster using
the edelight cookbook? I've finally managed to get to the point where I've
got the smallest possible microcluster up and running, with all major
components represented. At this stage, I'm hoping it will be relatively easy
to get more replicaset members added, more shards added, more config servers
added, and more app servers running the mongos "router" process.
But I am interested in talking to others who are doing Mongo with chef,
especially those trying the edelight cookbook, to see if they've got some
good ideas that I can ... borrow.
I've already contributed one set of changes back to the edelight folks, but I
have yet to hear anything from them as to whether or not they have accepted
them and whether they are going to incorporate anything that I've provided.
Before I contribute anything else back, I'm thinking that I need to get set
up on github and upload everything there, and then folks can pull from that
as they like.
Any and all advice is appreciated. Thanks!
