[chef] creds across multiple chef servers

hi.

is there a way to have my one user pem file to be applicable against
more than one chef server when using my knife client? looking at the
options to "knife client", it doesn't look like i can tell it to:

    create a client, as an admin, but don't create new pem file,
    use this one that i shall supply ..


is there a way to use the same validator.pem which i use on chef-server1
also on chef-server2? iow, is there something i can do on chef-server2
to make it use a validator.pem that i supply?
