Hello again,
I'm not sure if I already sent out notification of this... if I did,
my apologies.
I made some significant updates to the knife-vsphere plugin to support
much more customization of where vms get placed (storage location,
folder, resource pool, etc), as well as supporting customizing cpu
count, memory, and network vlans.
Also added bootstrapping / run list support.
Not sure who else is using it, but now it does a lot less guessing for
you, which may require a slight change in your workflow, or at least
of your commands for cloning new machines.

there appears to be a competing plugin, knife-esx... I may work with
Sergio to combine our efforts.
