Is there any way to get the SYMPA mailing list server to add URLs to these messages? I like to put links in the Food Fight Show notes to relevant items but it is pain to search through the archives just to get a URL.

Ohai!

In addition to the updated bootstrap-latest.tar.gz, we have some cookbook releases to share this week. Before I get that, I want to let everyone know we're working on preparing the opscode/cookbooks repository to be split up into separate Git repositories per cookbook. This is a topic that was discussed at the Opscode Community Summit last fall, and one that many people have requested over the last couple years. In a very large commit earlier, I added files to all cookbooks:

* CHANGELOG.md
* CONTRIBUTING
* LICENSE

The "Changes" section of each cookbook was removed from the README.md and added to the CHANGELOG.md file. We'll have a more formal announcement when the repositories are ready posted to the Opscode blog, so stay tuned.

* [COOK-969] - `server_name` and `server_aliases` as configurable attributes on `chef_server::nginx-proxy` and `chef_server::apache-proxy`

couchdb v1.0.0

* create group for couchdb

database v1.1.2

* [COOK-975] - Change arg='DEFAULT' to arg=nil, :default => 'DEFAULT'
* [COOK-964] - Add parentheses around connection hash in example

erlang v1.0.0

* [COOK-905] - Fix installation on RHEL/CentOS 6+

nagios v1.2.2

* [COOK-991] - NRPE LWRP No Longer Requires a Template
* [COOK-955] - Nagios Service Checks Defined by Data Bags
