Thanks Brian. So in my two node set up, I repeat the same steps as server node on the client node and additionally run the knife command, right?

Something like this?

Client node:
--------------------------------------------------
1. sudo rpm -Uvh http://rbel.frameos.org/rbel6
2. sudo yum install ruby ruby-devel ruby-ri ruby-rdoc ruby-shadow gcc gcc-c++ automake autoconf make curl dmidecode
3.  tar zxvf rubygems-1.8.17.tgz
4. cd rubygems-1.8.17
5. gem install chef --no-ri --no-rdoc
----------------------------------------------

6. mkdir -p /etc/chef
7. knife configure client ./

Thanks,

Prakashan

The installation directions on the wiki should work.
