[chef] Add tag to chef node on knife ec2 server create

I know that it's now possible to add a AWS tag when starting an instance with 
knife ec2 server create using -T or --tags, but I'm looking for the ability 
to add a tag to the chef node at the time of server creation. Does such 
ability exist right now with knife-ec2 (doesn't appear so when I was reading 
the help document)? Should I create a ticket for it on tickets.ospcode.com?
