[chef] chef-solo error : Could not parse the provided JSON file

Hi , I tried to follow
http://wiki.opscode.com/display/chef/Installing+Chef+Server+using+Chef+Solo
installation guide and  when ran chef-solo  command got  this error message :

# chef-solo -c /etc/chef/solo.rb -j ~/chef.json -r
http://s3.amazonaws.com/chef-solo/bootstrap-latest.tar.gz

(/root/chef.json)!: 743: unexpected token at '{  
"chef_server": {
    "server_url": "http://localhost:4000";

OS level is centOS 6.2  64 bits .
Chef version is 10.12.0 .
