[chef] chef-jenkins question

Hi,

do I understand correctly, that chef-jenkins 
(https://github.com/adamhjk/chef-jenkins) is supposed to perform 
synchronization only of cookbooks, not roles? Looked through 
chef-jenkins sources and couldn't find any code for role syncing. Am I 
missing something?
