[chef] Trouble with Chef-solr indexing

Hi everyone,

I've run into a problem with chef-solr. Chef server is working fine. Recipes are able to configure node and update node's attributes. The trouble is while searching an attribute. Both "knife search node" and "search()" in recipe return 0 items.

Chef-solr is running since it returns 0 items instead of a connection error.

Note that, I'm not able to run chef-solr as user 'chef' as opposed to other chef-server and chef-webui. Its running as root.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
