Yep, you can use the group resource to take care of this. You just have to make sure that the user is there ahead of this running in the run_list and it can use the members option to make sure it’s where it needs to be.

Hi!  I have a user that gets created during the installation of a vendor-supplied package . . . I need to add this user to a group . . . anyone know ow to do that?  If it makes a difference, this user has a different UID on each machine it's installed on :-(
