I believe this was an issue in the handler itself (https://github.com/calavera/minitest-chef-handler/blob/master/History.txt#L1).

If you set your node attribute [:minitest][:chef_handler_gem_version] = '1.0.2'  the default is still 1.0.1, I think it will fix that issue for you.

Here is an example of a very basic test that I'm having trouble with:

I'm getting nil back on any permissions/ownership type tests under chef-client 11.10.2.

Is there a change that I missed that is causing this?
