[chef] Cookbook dependencies doc

Hi,

Could somebody point to a document describing how the cookbook dependencies 
are calculated ?

I found for attributes http://docs.opscode.com/chef_overview_attributes.html ;
but not sure if apply for cookbook version constraints.
