Hi Vishal,

The error you're seeing:

"[2014-04-11T13:05:38-04:00] DEBUG: Re-raising exception: Chef::Exceptions::CannotWritePrivateKey - I cannot write your private key to /etc/chef/client.pem - check permissions?
/opt/chef/embedded/lib/ruby/gems/1.9.1/gems/chef-11.10.4/lib/chef/api_client/registration.rb:71:in `assert_destination_writable!'"
Usually means that you happen to be running chef-client this time without root permissions.  Try running it as 'sudo chef-client' and let us know if you encounter any further errors.

What is the run list on this node? Can you run "knife node show NODE"
and share the results?

Can you run "chef-client -l debug" and put the output in a gist
(http://gist.github.com)?

Bryan
