Hi All,

I’m trying to use winrm over SSL and have generated a self-signed certificate on the client windows machine using makecert and then used

winrm create winrm/config/Listener?Address=*+Transport=HTTPS @{Port="5986" ;Hostname="blah" ;CertificateThumbprint="x x x x x x x”

But when I bootstrap using the –t ssl switch I get this:

ERROR: OpenSSL::SSL::SSLError: SSL_connect returned=1 errno=0 state=SSLv3 read server certificate B: certificate verify failed

Do you know why?

Should I be putting a file on the chef workstation somewhere to verify the cert?

Cheers,

Simon.
