This looks great.  Thanks for sharing it.

Can you offer suggestions for fixing those gem dependencies?  I
get the following result with a newly-created cookbook:

    $ bundle install
    Fetching gem metadata from https://rubygems.org/.......
    Fetching additional metadata from https://rubygems.org/..
    Resolving dependencies...
    Bundler could not find compatible versions for gem "rspec":
      In Gemfile:
        serverspec (>= 1.10) ruby depends on
