[chef] How to wipe clean Chef from my system

Hello Chefs,

I am fairly new to Chef, I've been having problems with my development 
environment so I would like to start fresh, Is there some procedure I can 
follow to clean everything (Berkshelf, vagrant, etc) from my system to start 
a fresh and clean install?
