I wrote a knife plugin to do this: 
https://github.com/danielsdeleo/knife-plugins/blob/master/key_check.rb I ;
haven’t used it in quite some time so you may need to update the code. Also, 
you’ll need to have an admin account that is authorized to read the public 
key of the client from the server for this to work.
