While we are on the topic of improving Rackspace support I just committed (and marked the ticket fixed) full bootstrap template support for "knife rackspace server create":

Sounds like we have a lot of movement on the Rackspace front...glad to see it.  This should also dovetail nicely into initial OpenStack provisioning/bootstrapping support in Knife.
