Deleting _anything_ other than a single message has always been a pain
the butt with Google Groups.
I guess the best way to avoid that is to have preventative measures in place.
Not that I'm promoting other listserves, I honestly hate the Mailman
instances I have to deal with, just be aware of the gotchas involved
before moving the world to Google Groups.
