[chef-dev] Available Release Candidates for Chef Client 10.30.0, 11.8.2 and mixlib-shellout 1.3.0

Hey folks,

We have some release candidates for Chef Client and mixlib-shellout.

Highlights of these releases are: 

* Recently released ruby version that fixes a security vulnerability is included in the omnibus packages. 

* Lots of fixes on 10.30.0 (See https://tickets.opscode.com/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?mode=hide&requestId=12182 for more info)

* Cleaning up timed out processes in mixlib-shellout

You can get these releases via omnitruck:

curl -L "https://www.opscode.com/chef/install.sh" | sudo bash -s -- -v 10.30.0.rc.1

Or via rubygems: 

gem install chef --pre

gem install mixlib-shellout --pre

We're planning to release these on the week of Dec 2.
