We're using Atlassian's Crowd[1] with their OpenID plugin and that's working really well for us. Mostly, it's a huge advantage for us because we heavily use Atlassian's other products too, so we get mostly-single sign-on across a bunch of services, now including stuff with OpenID.

Funnily enough, cookbooks for Crowd will appear at some point soon. :)
