I think this is again an issue with rubygems. The bin path of the rubygems is
a moving target.
On the last lucid32 Vagrant instance rubygems 1.7 is installed which has
/opt/ruby/bin as bin path.
the wget rubygems 1.3.7 install has /usr/bin as path
the path in runit recipes (e.g. god) expects /usr/bin
very annoying
