[chef] Re: deploy a new version of a rails app?

Sorry, someone just did answer in #chef and it *is* as I mentioned below; assuming you're using deploy, running chef-client deploys the latest (there's probably a lot more detail in what I just said).

I must be missing something completely obvious: I've brought up a node running a rails app, all is good.  How do I deploy a new version of the app?  Do I just run chef-client on the node?  (That seems very counter-intuitive after coming from the cap/rubber world.)
