[chef] Using upper and lower limits in 'supports' field in metadata

Hello everyone,

Docs here about 'supports' field in metadata only shows only setting one 
type of limit for 'supports', upper, lower, or equal:

Is there a way of setting both an upper and a lower limit, ie:

supports 'ubuntu' , ">= 8.04", "<=11.10"
