[chef] Looking for articles on workflow

I'm trying to figure out the workflow for our group to use Chef and
I'm a bit overwhelmed by the options.
Berkshelf, Whisk, Spork, ....

If there are any good articles out there describing the workflows
people actually use, that would be very
helpful.
