I have tried it on my Windows box but got stuck at the point where it
should resolve the "artifact" dependency:

Not sure if I did something wrong or it's not working on Windows yet :-/
The other thing I noticed is that 0.6.0.beta1 locks down the Chef
dependency to 10.12.x in the Gemfile, whilst the CentOS basebox from
your guide comes with Chef 10.14.2 already:
