Ohai Chefs,
We have a few more cookbook releases for you. This is also your gentle
reminder to test out the Nagios cookbook per my earlier email - if you use
Nagios anyway :-).
Most of the list are related to changes in the runit cookbook's runit_service
resource - the "template_name" parameter is "back" in that it is now
"run_template_name" (to clarify its intent). A shout out goes to David
Radcliffe for contributing the fix for runit_service with rspec tests. Thanks
David!
## application_ruby v1.1.0
- [COOK-2362] - `application_ruby` unicorn uses `run_restart`
- [COOK-2363] - `application_ruby` unicorn should set
`log_template_name` and `run_template_name`
## apt v1.9.0:
- [COOK-2185] - Proxy for apt-key
- [COOK-2338] - Support pinning by glob() or regexp
## git v2.3.0
- [COOK-2385] - update git::server for `runit_service` resource support
## memcached v1.3.0
- [COOK-2386] - update `memcached_instance` definition for
`runit_service` resource
## runit v1.0.4
- [COOK-2351] - add `run_template_name` to allow alternate run script
template
## windows v1.8.4:
- [COOK-2336] - MSI That requires reboot returns with RC 3010 and
causes chef run failure
- [COOK-2368] - `version` attribute of the `windows_package` provider
should be documented
