[chef] AWS Cookbook

I'm trying to use the AWS cookbook:
https://github.com/opscode-cookbooks/aws

Receiving this error:
NameError
---------
uninitialized constant Opscode::Aws::Ec2::RightAws

My recipe has at the top:
chef_gem "right_aws"

I saw this:

.... but I don't understand the implications. Does this mean the AWS cookbook is just plain broken? Chef bug? Something else?
