This is an oversight, I only used it to provision VMs in a way that they got 
self-assigned IPs and totally didn’t think about the case where a machine is 
provisioned in some other way. I’ll add these options for the next version. 
If you want to work around the issue, you can set environment variables and 
then read them with `ENV` in the cookbook.
