Didn't try upgrading rubygems.

If so, could you share your spec file?

Not sure, people are reporting segfaults also with x86_64 packages...

Latest ruby package in RBEL is 1.8.7-p352 matching upstream ruby
version so upgrading to p352 didn't fix the issue.
