[chef] knife - Error connecting to https://api.opscode.com/organizations

I'm trying to follow the training material, lesson #2, on https://learnchef.opscode.com/ -

So far, I managed to install chef client on a desktop (virtual desktop).  I also created an organization in the hosted chef.

The issue now is that when I tried to perform "fnife client list", I get "ERROR: Network Error: Error connecting to https://api.opscode.com/organizations/chefytp/clients - getaddrinfo:  This is usually a temporary error during hostname resolution and means that the local server did not receive a response from an authoritative server..." (see below).

So perhaps my local DNS cannot resolve this address, is there an IP address that I can try?  Or any other suggestion?  Thanks!
