Mani,

I'm not entirely clear on how you managed to get the Ruby package I removed from the AegisCo repo. Either way, you don't want to use that one; it has segfaults sporadically. I have backported 299 from RHEL6 and there are no problems reported. Unfortunately, the versions are pegged in the stock bootstrap scripts. 

Please us this bootstrap, modified for 0.10.4:

Could you tell us the command you're running? Also, what operating system you are trying to bootstrap?
