I was using the ruby & ruby-gems packages from ELrepo, and as far as that was
going it looked like it was working fine. For true-blue RH installs, I would
assume that the version(s) from EPEL would probably also be fine.
I'm currently using the versions included in the omnibus installer, and that
has since become a non-issue for me.
